Description
For the 1964 New York World's Fair, Coca-Cola commissioned the world's largest Carillon - a 610 bell musical instrument! - to be center stage at their Pavilion. This record was available as a souvenir for those attending. The record has 4 songs (all recorded with the Carillon). Side one features the "Theme Song" and "Beautiful Dreamer." Side 2 has "Shenandoan" and "Beautiful America Medley."
We have not been able to play this record so we do not know the quality or issues. We did notice a potential scratch (see the last photographs) towards the end of the Beautiful America Medley. Due to the fact, we can not play it, this is being auction as-is with no warranty on the play-ability.
The record sleeve is 7" x 7". The top portion of the sleeve as split with about 1 1/2+" intact. The bottom of the sleeve shows some minor wear from storage.
Overall an outstanding collectible for both the Coca-Cola and World's Fair aficionados.
